Collegiate Sports Academy Sports and Recreation Certificate Sports Media program bridges the gap between the field and the fan. You will learn the technical and creative skills required to cover professional, collegiate, and local sports across multiple platforms—including television, radio, podcasts, and social media.​

The curriculum is built around "learning by doing," often utilizing industry-standard studios and equipment.

• Broadcasting & Play-by-Play: Master the art of live commentary, color analysis, and sideline reporting.

• Multimedia Production: Learn to operate 4K cameras, manage live multicam switchers, and edit high-energy video packages for social media and highlights.

• Sports Journalism: Develop skills in sports writing, investigative reporting, and conducting "locker room" style interviews.

• Digital & Social Strategy: Understand how to engage fanbases through data visualization, real-time social media management, and podcasting.
